Manila -- Ed Lambert, 61, of Manila died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at his home. Born July 27, 1953, in Parkin, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Patterson Lambert and had been a Manila resident for over 50 years. Ed was a self-employed carpenter and contractor and had attended Westside Baptist Church. He loved all kinds of woodworking and spending time in his garden and greenhouse, growing tomatoes, blackberries and strawberries.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John William Lambert.

Survivors include, one son, Chris Lambert of West Monroe, La.; one daughter, Dana Lambert of Winston-Salem, N.C.; one brother, Joe Donald Lambert of Manila; three sisters, Carolyn Sue Holt of Manila, Barbara Ann York of Blytheville and Charlette Barnett of Cordova, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral service were 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial followed in Manila Cemetery. The family received visitors from noon until service time Tuesday.
