Doris Stella Ingram, 93, of Manila, passed from this life Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at the Monette Manor Nursing Center. Born in Blytheville, she was the daughter of early Clear Lake settlers, Walter David and Lela Victoria Riggs Deason. The widow of Mr. Wallace Lamar "Cy" Ingram, she was a lifelong Mississippi County resident and a longtime member of the Manila Church of Christ. Mrs. Ingram was a member of the Manila Home Extension Club, the Business and Professional Women's Club, the Arkansas Lost Chord Club, and was also involved with the American Legion and Red Cross projects.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Walter Ingram, and a daughter, Stella Mae Ingram Barnes.

Survivors include five sons, Wallace Lamar Ingram, Jr. of Herald, Calif., Lawrence Gordon "Larry" Ingram of West Plains, Mo., Gerald Wayne Ingram of Manila, Joel Woodson Ingram of Leachville and Dale Bruce Ingram of Manila. Mrs. Ingram also leaves 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Jeremy Tucker and Michael Chaffin officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Smith, Frank Hernandez, Josh Parnell, Ricky Copeland, Ernie Malloy and Brian Eldridge.
