Patris Ann Reed

Ms. Patris Ann Reed, 46, Mesquite, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Texas Health Presbyterian in Dallas.

Born in Blytheville, she was a bus operator for Gary P.T. and the city of Dart, Texas, and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Reed and Louise Clark Reed.

She leaves behind her fiance, Richard King Sr. of Mesquite, Texas;

Two daughters, Tunisia Davis of Mequite, Texas and Taquilla Davis of Gary, Indiana;

Three sons, Zamiyun Reed of Mequite, Texas, Keenan Davis of Lafayette, Indiana, and stepson Richard King Jr. of Gary, Indiana;

Four sisters, Barbara Amis of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mattie Bell of Gary, Indiana, Lovalice Reed of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Cherry Reed of Kansas City, Missouri;

Six brothers, Russell Reed, Louise Reed Jr., Herbert Reed and Albert Reed, all of Kansas City, Missouri, George Reed of Forney, Texas, and Thomas Reed of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and

Twelve grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Immanuel MB Church with the Rev. Burton Furlow officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
