Jeanie Miller Privett, 81, of Blytheville, departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Gosnell Health Care in Gosnell.

Born to Minton and Mary Alice Betts Miller in Blytheville, she was a resident of the Blytheville area for most of her life and a member of the Beacon Baptist Church. Having worked at some of the factories in Blytheville, her main priority was being a homemaker. The times she spent with family were very precious to her, especially with the grandchildren. Children have always been special in her life. For many years, she served in the nurseries at Fairview Baptist Church and also at Beacon Baptist Church. As a Christian, church was a major part of her life and she always looked forward to times of worship when she was able to attend.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, F.M. Miller; two sisters, Margie Lovelace and Margaret Bulliner; and a grandson, Wesley Lentz.

Jeanie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Duane Privett of Blytheville;

Her children, Billy Lynn Bratton and his wife Debbie of Phoenix, Arizona, Kay Lentz and her husband, Paul of Branson, Missouri, Sandy Flora and her husband David of Blytheville;

Her grandchildren, Hope Cheeseman and her husband Kevin of Phoenix, Arizona, Joey Lentz of Branson, Missouri, Brandee Craine of Branson, Missouri, Shellee Flora of Blytheville;

14 great grandchildren; and

Her brother, Winfred Miller and his wife, Ann of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Beacon Baptist Church in Blytheville. The Memorial Service will be officiated by the Rev. Kenny Davis with a private committal service to be announced at a later date.
