Verizon Wireless presented representatives from the Haven of Northeast Arkansas with a check for $2,000 as a part of the company's HopeLine grant project. The project collects no-longer-used mobile phones and accessories from any carrier, refurbishes the devices and loads each one with 3,000 free minutes of talk time to be given out at domestic violence shelters, such as the Haven. Pictured are (from left) Derrick Redditt with Verizon, Karen Armstrong of the Haven, Kenny Legge of Verizon, Angelia Cooper with the Haven and Tami Williams with Verizon.
