Wanda Faye Moody Trowbridge

Wanda Faye Moody Trowbridge, 79, of Blytheville, passed from this life Sunday, Nov, 30, 2014, at her home.

Wanda was born in Manila to Robert Lee and Lillian (Rushing) Long, and was a Blytheville resident the past 54 years. She was a dedicated bank officer at SouthBank for 37 years, a former member of the Eastern Star and the Blytheville Business Women's club. She loved quilting, sewing and crocheting. Wanda owned a quilting machine and took great pleasure and pride in quilting blankets and quilts for others. She also loved to square dance and clog, and was known and loved by everyone she was acquainted with.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David Moody.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Trowbridge of the home;

Two sons, Danny Moody and wife Gaye of Dell, Vance Moody and wife Lisa of Franklin, Arkansas;

Two daughters, Sharon Owen of Dell, and Tanya Yowell and husband Darren of Berghiem, Texas;

One brother, Morris Long (and Fay) of Paragould;

One sister, Imogene Skaggs (and Grover) of Leachville;

Eleven grandchildren, Heidi Rogers and Tim of Alamo, Tennessee, Leigh Ann Casey and Charley of Armorel, Trent Moody and Sarah Lee of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Kelli Hicks and Brice of Gosnell, Brooke Duclos and Travis of Gosnell, Jessie Crank and Joe of Gosnell, Leslie Hill and Casey of Manila, Russ Moody of Jonesboro, Lauren Franz and Tyler of Batesville, Chance Yowell and Warren Yowell, both of Berghiem, Texas; and

Sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial followed in Dogwood Cemetery.

The family received visitors Tuesday at the funeral home.
