Friday, October 31, 2014

To the editor:

The Mississippi County Literacy Council would like to thank everyone involved in helping to make the 4th Annual Alex Johnson Memorial Benefit, held on Sept. 6, a great success. We are grateful for the dedication of our volunteers who worked countless hours before, during and after the event. We are very appreciative of the donations from individuals and businesses that helped us produce a wonderful evening and for the musicians and artists who gave of their time and unique talent. To those of you who purchased tickets and attended the event, thank you for being an advocate for adult literacy in our community!
