Mr. Michael D. Jones, 52, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, died Sunday at his home.

Born in Osceola to Barbara Clayborne Jones of Chicago, and the late Otis Jones Sr., he graduated from Blytheville High School in 1980 and was a veteran. He was employed by CCC Group in Cape Girardeau, where he moved a few years ago, and was a member of Ture Vine Ministries in Cape Girardeau.

Mr. Jones leaves his wife, Cordie L. Jones of the home;

One son, Travis L. Jones of Cape Girardeau;

Three brothers, Otis Jones Jr., and Douglas Jones, both of Blytheville, and Victor Jones of Chicago;

Two grandchildren; and

A host of nieces, nephews cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1029 S. Benton St., in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Joseph G. Cotton, pastor, and the Rev. Adron Poole delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with military rites at the gravesite.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at Faith and Glory Church in Blytheville.
