Jessie James "Sandy" Tyler III

Mr. Jessie James "Sandy" Tyler III, 53, of Blytheville, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at his home.

He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Jessie J. Tyler and Viola Williams Tyler.

He attended Blytheville Schools and was an employee of Tenaris Corporation.

Mr. Tyler leaves two daughters, Dipporah Tyler and LaTasha Tyler of Blytheville;

Two sons, Justin Tyler and Matthew Tyler of Blytheville;

Six sisters, Sarah Leonard, Ella Hicks and Dorothy (Jerry) Pankey, all of Michigan City, Indiana, Martha Williams of Cincinnati, Bobbie (Curtis) Deal of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Erma Tyler of Dallas;

Eight brothers, Henry (Olivia) Williams of Baton Rouge, Lenester Williams of Elkhart, Indiana, Henry (Mary) Tyler, GeneAutry Tyler, Herman Tyler and Hubert Tyler, all of Kansas City, Missouri, Jessie James Tyler Jr. of Chicago and Wayne (Marie) Tyler of Dallas; and

Ten grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family friends and a former spouse, Anitra Brown Tyler.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, 121 E. Cleveland St., Elder Willie Beal, pastor.
