Harold Smith

Harold Smith, 69, of Blytheville, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, in Holland.

Born July 12, 1945, in Tyronza, he was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Smith and Katherine Cunningham Smith; sisters, Mattie Staton, Geraldine Archie, Ruby Sparks and Emma Torrence; and brothers, James Smith Jr., Joe Nathan Smith, Henry Smith, Clarence Smith Sr., and Paul Smith Sr.

Mr. Smith leaves his son, Harold Smith Jr. of Lansing, Michigan;

Six sisters, Lela Mae Smith and Elaine McAtee of Blytheville, Mae Catherine Brown and Maxine Smith of Indianapolis, Evelyn Sheely of Mount Morris, Michigan, and Every Mae Wilson of Cleveland; and

Two brothers, Corneilus Smith of Indianapolis and Nathaniel Smith Sr. of Gosnell.

The family will receive visitors from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Church of the Lord Jesus. Funeral services, officiated by District Elder Harold McDonald, will be held at the church directly following visitation, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.
