Diane Gibson

Mrs. Diane Gibson, 58, of Blytheville, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock.

Born July 25, 1956, to Maurice Davis of Osceola and the late Vernice Davis, she worked for American Greetings for 30 years and was a member of Greater Macedonia MB Church in Wilson where she was a choir member and served on the New Member Committee.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by one son, Lejuan Robinson.

Mrs. Gibson leaves her husband, Larry Gibson of Blytheville;

Five daughters, Chemeka (Thomas) Cooper of Little Rock, Vernice Robinson of Magnolia, Kelecia Hooks and Bridgett Robinson of Gosnell and Brittney (Tramane) Walter of Bryant;

Two sons, Calvin Hooks of Osceola and Larry Gibson of Blytheville;

Seven sisters, Jacqueline Anderson of Joiner, Carlette Plummer of Lewisville, Texas, Natasha Frazier of Washington state, Ivory Lenson of Hayti, Shondra Harris of Hayti, Yolanda Patterson of Hayti and Alisa Patterson of Springfield, Missouri;

Six brothers, Christopher Bousley of Killeen, Texas, Wayne Patterson of Osceola, Reginald Patterson of Springfield, Missouri, Curtis Frazier and Joe Frazier, both of Southbend, Indiana, and Michael Frazier of Water Valley, Mississippi; and

Eleven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Greater Macedonia MB Church in Wilson with Bryant Whitted officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. No visitation is scheduled.
