Leslie Leroy McCann

Leslie Leroy McCann, 84, of Osceola, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2014, at South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola.

Born July 6, 1930, in Ulysses, Kansas, he was a retired construction worker. He was known as a hardworking, quiet and reserved person.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine McCann; two sisters, Ruby McCann and Darlene Haynes; and one brother, Gordon McCann.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane Maness of Southaven, Mississippi;

A son, Leslie Dale (Autumn) McCann of Duncan, Oklahoma;

A step-son, Martin Jackie Ray of Montana;

Six grandchildren, Jackson McCann, Aaron Ray, Justin Ray, Janet Ray, April Walker and Joshua Maness; and

Four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge in Burdette.
