Danny L. Davis

Mr. Danny L. Davis, 46, of Blytheville, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born in Osceola to the late Joyce Harvey Henderson and Jerome Davis, he graduated from Blytheville High School. As a young child, he confessed hope in Christ at the West End MB Church. He was employed at Nibco Manufacturing Company.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie "Bill" Harvey Sr., and John Davis; his grandmother, Christene Davis; one sister, Jacqueline Henderson; and stepfather, Charles Taylor.

Mr. Davis leaves his wife, Patricia Walker Davis of Blytheville;

One daughter, Antoinette Davis of Blytheville;

Two sons, Danny Davis Jr., and Kylen Wells of Blytheville;

Three sisters, LaWonder Henderson of Memphis, and Carolyn Henderson and Stephanie Taylor, both of Blytheville;

His grandmother, Norell Harvey of Blytheville; and

A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Prince of Peace Church, with the Rev. Terrell Rogers, pastor, and the Rev. Luther Butler delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Prince of Peace Church.
