James Arthur Clower

James Arthur Clower, 74, of Blytheville, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis.

Born April 19, 1940 in Gilmore, Arkansas, he was a farm worker and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Clower and Sarah Tyler Clower, sisters Bertha Jones and Addie Nevel, and brothers Clarence Fisher, Elijah Clower and Arthur Clower.

Mr. Clower leaves five sisters, Alice Clower and Dorothy Bonher, both of Blytheville, Johnnie Henderson of Chicago, Pearlie Norman of Jonesboro, and Edna Smith of Luxora; and

One brother, David Henry Clower of Waco, Texas.

The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at St. Mark in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. John Henry Fisher, will take place at 3 p.m., directly following visitation. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
