Mrs. Sandra Kay Gordy, 65, of Blytheville, passed away Friday night, Sept. 12, 2014, at Portageville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Blytheville on July 20, 1949, to Delbert and Alma Joiner Dunkin. She was a homemaker who loved being with her family. She enjoyed watching television, especially the True TV station. Her favorite foods were from KFC and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Everyone knew that when they came to see her, they should bring some Reese's for her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Lee Harrington; three brothers, Bob Dunkin, Jerry Dunkin and David Dunkin; and a sister, Myra Anderson.

She is survived by a daughter, Cara (and Brandon) Raines of Blytheville;

Five sons, Greg (and Teresa) Gordy of Branson, Missouri, Robert Kelly Gordy (and Marie Minyard) of Blytheville, Paul Bryan Harrington of Kennett, Missouri, Joseph Ryan Harrington (and Kerry Matthews) of Branson, Missouri, and Josh Edward Harrington of Branson, Missouri;

One sister, Debbie Van Dyke (and Randy) of Blytheville;

Two brothers, John Dunkin (and Willadean) of Searcy and Pete Dunkin of Mobile, Alabama; and

Ten grandchildren, Kelly Wells, Crystal Gordy, Lindsey Gordy, Jaelan Raines, Beau Raines, Jamison Harrington, Ryan Gray, Baylie Gray, Treyton Harrington and Kason Harrington.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Carney Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial may be held later.
