Shirley Rae Moore Gribble

Ms. Shirley Rae Moore Gribble, 70, of Blytheville, passed from this life on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.

Born to Clovis Moore and Alberta Wright Black in Pollard, Ark., she was an area resident for most of her life. Shirley was a retired office manager for Schueck Steel and was of the Baptist faith. Shirley loved her flower gardens and would work diligently in them. She also enjoyed doing arts and crafts, but her real passion was online shopping, and she was an avid reader. Most important and foremost in her life was family and enough precious time to be with them. Her devotion to her son and grandchildren was to be admired, for they filled her heart with joy and love beyond measure.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Gribble.

Shirley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Melissa Gribble of Blytheville;

Her grandchildren, Alexander Gribble of Jackson, Miss., and Haley Rae Gribble and Hunter Tune, both of Blytheville;

Siblings, Jerry and Lou Etchison Moore of Fayetteville, Sandy and Keith Shelton of Jackson, Miss.;

Nephews and nieces, Austin Moore, Alexis Moore Cox, Matthew Stewart, Chasedy Bergold; and

Several great-nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the funeral home.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
