Mrs. Lela Relph, 56, of Osceola, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, in Osceola.

Born in Nodena, Ark., to Mildred Brown Johnson and the late Albert Johnson, she was a member of Living Word Cathedral COGIC.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by one son, Hubert Mosley Jr., and one brother, John Brittman Jr.

Mrs. Relph leaves her husband, Leslie Relph of the home;

Four daughters, Bethany Brown and Johnita (Kevin) Davis, both of Osceola, Tiffany N. Mosely of Jonesboro and Kia Relph of Huntsville, Ala.;

Two sons, Melvin Johnson Jr., and John Willie Britman III, both of Osceola;

Her grandmother, Lela M. Parnell of Osceola;

One goddaughter, Chiquita (John) Williams of Charlotte, N.C.;

One stepdaughter, LeKela (Ulysses) Glee of Boynton Beach, Fla.;

Six sisters, Mary Louise (William) William of Memphis, Linda G. (Billy) Moore of Paducah, Ky., Glenda (Robert) Bohanon and Mary A. Parnell, both of Osceola, Helen Tolbert of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Jerline Coleman of Malden, Mo.;

One brother, Elzie Broadnax of Osceola; and

Ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Promiseland COGIC on South Highway 61 in Osceola, with Archie Thomas officiating and Johnnie Moore pastor. Burial will follow at Whiteside Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Living Word Catherdral COGIC in Osceola.
