Margaret Ann Sipes Wright

Margaret Ann Sipes Wright, 73, of Gosnell, passed from this life on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.

Born to Arzo and Mary Elizabeth McGill Sipes in the Blytheville area, she was a lifelong resident, a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Margaret was an avid fisherman and could outfish most people around her. When able, she would work in her flower garden and do everything possible to make her home a place where one felt love the moment they entered. Children had a special love in her heart, as she babysat many, many children over the years and played a major role in the paths they chose in later life. Her love and influence will always be a part of their life. Margaret also loved video games, and she and best friend, Inez Pennington, had a standing date every Thursday to play games and enjoy their friendship and competitiveness.

Although she had great love for those she babysat for, when it came to family, her heart was full and running over. Family meant everything to her and showed in the devotion she had for her husband, children, grand and great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Eliece Sipes, Doug Sipes, Coy Sipes, Doyle Sipes, Joyce Sipes Sabat and Danny Sipes.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Charles David Wright of the home;

Children, Michael Wright and his companion Samuel Orris of Branson, Mo., Kim and Bobby Trump of Gosnell, and John and Shari Wright of Paragould;

Grandchildren, Heather and Jeff Jones, Zach Trump, David Wright, Timothy Wright, Sara Trump and Elizabeth Wright;

Great-grandchildren, Hadley Jones and Deacon Jones; and

Siblings, Eugene "Red" Sipes, Carol Richardson and Linda Sipes Clarke.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, in Elmwood Cemetery, and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at Cobb Funeral Home.
