Bertie Lou Wolfe

Bertie Lou Wolfe, 86, of Osceola, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, in Jonesboro.

Born on Jan. 9, 1928, in Rosa, Ark., to the late Orley Chester and Bertie Mae Williams, she was retired from Osceola Foods and was a member of Bethel Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Osceola.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Wolfe; her parents; two brothers, Tommy Williams and H.B. Williams; and four sisters, Bertha Mae Sarrells, Edith Butler, Martha Forsythe and Frances Freeman.

Survivors include her sister, Helen Shields of Tupelo, Miss.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m., with burial following at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
