Hedy Austin Conley

Hedy Austin Conley, 81, of Blytheville, died Sunday, Aug,. 24, 2014 in Jonesboro.

She was born May 16, 1933, in Denmark, Ark., to Elmer Abraham Solida and Mary Elizabeth Leonard Solida. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville Austin; grandson, Daniel Austin; two sisters; and four brothers.

She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Ramsey of Garland, Texas, Vicki Abraham and husband Benny of Heber Springs, and Cindy Hutsell and husband Dwain of Conway;

Two sons, Robert Austin and wife Sherri of Blytheville, and Kevin Austin of Blytheville;

Nine grandchildren, Rachel Ramsey of Garland, Texas, Sara Sherwood and husband John of Beebe, Elizabeth Davis and husband Brian of Conway, Joseph Hutsell of Conway, Robbie Austin of Jonesboro, Richie Austin of Jonesboro, Robyn Thorn and husband Scotty of Lake City, Shawn Austin of San Francisco, Calif., and Cody Austin of Blytheville; and

Four great-grandchildren, Sydney Sherwood of Beebe, J.T. Sherwood of Beebe, Bella Davis of Conway and Kenady Thorn of Lake City.

Visitation is 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Graveside funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Shady Grove Cemetery.
