Alan Conway Edwards

Alan Conway Edwards, 53, passed away Monday, Aug, 11, 2014, at his home.

He was born May 12, 1961, in Baton Rouge, La. He was a longtime resident of Blytheville. He worked as a plumber with his father since the age of 14 and was owner and operator of Alan Edward's Plumbing. Alan will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather with a kind heart, who loved fishing and gave back to people when he could.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Edwards, and a brother, Ronnie Edwards.

He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Angela and Casey Besharse of Monette;

A son and his wife, Alex and Monica Edwards of Gosnell;

His mother, Louise Edwards of Blytheville;

A sister, Cindy Davies of Mobile, Ala;

Six grandchildren, Carmen Besharse, Austin Besharse, Demre Besharse, Kaelyn Edwards, Brooklyn Edwards, Starlyn Dunkin; and

Close friends Dorothy Grissom, Kay Marr, and Randy Kennedy.

A graveside service to celebrate his life will be ay 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15, at Monette Memorial Cemetary with the Rev. Rusty Bird officiating under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
