Dennis Michael "Scooter" Kibler Jr., 41, of the Burdette community, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

He was born to Dennis Michael and Judith Henderson Kibler in Lincoln Park, Mich., was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a truck driver for A.N.S.P. Scooter was also a baseball coach who helped coach from T-Ball through Babe Ruth League. He helped many children to get a good and solid foundation of the fundamentals of the game. Scooter was also an avid fan and participant in the demolition derbies held throughout the area. He was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed putting his car together to compete in the races. Above all, he enjoyed the time and special moments spent with his children and the rest of his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Michael Kibler, maternal grandparents Roby Lene and Marvin Henderson and paternal grandfather George Russell Kibler.

Surviving Scooter are children, Kayla Jones of Jonesboro, Zachary Kibler of Gosnell, Kye Kibler, Micha Kibler and Jersey Kibler, all of Burdette, and Tyler Johnson of Burdette, who Scooter and Charlotte raised in their home,;

Parents, Judith Kibler and William Brandon Jr. of Blytheville;

Grandmother, Wanda Kibler of Southgate, Mich.;

Step-grandfather, William Brandon of Fayetteville;

Sisters, Dawn Williams of Blytheville, Heather Parrish, Springfield, Mo., Diane Briggs of Florida, Denise Ross of North Carolina;

Aunts and uncles, Michele Kibler, Southgate, Mich., Russell Kibler of Southgate Mich., Shelley and Jim Pugh of West Memphis, Nancy and Bill Barry of Tulsa, Okla., Paula Interligi of Blytheville and Ann Porta of Fayetteville;

A grand niece and nephew, Michael Clark and Zoie Kibler;

Godparents Don and Kathy Davis and Donna Fincher;

Lifelong special friends, Julius Jones and Hunter Rounsaville;

His former spouses, Amy Cathey VanDyke, Jeanette Webb and Charlotte Kibler; and

A host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Deacon William Brandon officiating.
