Charles Otis Alexander
Mr. Charles Otis Alexander, 83, of Osceola, died of a heart attack Saturday, June 24, 2014, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. Born March 20, 1931, in Wilson, he was retired from the post office, a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Korea, and a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Osceola.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Alexander and Lottie Mae Crow, his wife, Deloris Alexander, and sisters Juanita Kruss and Genny McDale.
Mr. Alexander leaves his son, Charles Alexander Jr. of Osceola;
Three sisters, Betty Little of Oklahoma, Joyce Lucy of Jonesboro, and Linda Jones of Rockford;
One brother, Henry Alexander of California;
Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 9-11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Tom Doty, will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Tyronza.
