Melva Bibb Harsh

Melva Bibb Harsh, 79, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Monette, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, in Leesburg. She was born Jan. 7, 1935, to the late David and Irene Coffee Wiser in Leachville. She lived in Leachville for 15 years then married James Bibb of Monette and moved to Sturgis, Mich., for 25 years before moving back to Leachville in 1975. Mrs. Melva moved to Florida in 2003. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Doug Harsh, of the home; two sons, James Bibb (Debbie) of Sturgis, Mich., and Ron Bibb (Vickie) of Azle, Texas; daughter, Tammy Dumas of Senath, Mo.; two brothers, Bill Wiser of Florida and Morris Wiser of Texas; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Bibb.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette. Interment will follow at Leachville Cemetery.

Friends may visit with family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 20.

The family request lasting memorials be made to Second Baptist Church in Leachville.
