Sarah Dene Brown

Mrs. Sarah Dene Brown, 70, of Osceola, died of heart failure Sunday, May 25, 2014, at her home. Born Feb. 19, 1944, in Clarksdale, she was a retired CNA and a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church of Osceola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Minnie Jackson; her husband, Will Brown; her sisters Annie Ghoston, Catherine Jackson, Helen Jackson, Lamelle Jackson, Jennie Mae Jackson and Willie Lee Jackson; and a brother, Alex Jackson.

Mrs. Brown leaves two daughters, Julia Mae Brown of Osceola and Darlene McAdory of Drew;

Two sons, Sidney Brown and Edward Brown, both of Osceola;

Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Moses Black, will be held at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church of Osceola at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
