Neda Faye Moore Turner

Mrs. Neda Fay Moore Turner, 72, of Blytheville, passed from this life on Friday, May 23, 2014, at her home in Blytheville.

Born to Cratus Wilson "C.W." and Hattie Mae Phillips Moore in Manila, she was a lifelong area resident and attended Number Nine Baptist Church. Neda was an individual who loved gardening and especially going crappie fishing with her husband, Mickey. She had an avid love for flowers and had a wonderful gift of being able to arrange all the colors into beautiful bouquets. She was able to use this unique gift as she was employed at Cathy's Flowers and Lunsford's Flowers from where she retired. Neda was a devoted wife to Mickey, her siblings, nieces and nephews. During her sickness, she exhibited true faith, courage, love and a special strength that surfaced at the times she needed it.

Neda was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Wilson Moore; and sisters, Dorothy Moore McGhee, Shirley Moore Carter and Barbara Jean Moore Cole.

Neda is survived by her husband, Clyde A. "Mickey" Turner Jr. of the home;

Her twin sister, Veda Moore Owens of Cabot; and

Many nieces and nephews.

The family would also like to acknowledge the Blytheville hospice program and very special thanks to Shirley Gudehus who attended to Neda with such care and compassion.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Dogwood Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Hurley officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cobb Funeral Home.
