Prisoner in botched execution not the victim

Friday, May 2, 2014

To the editor:

Why did the Blytheville Courier News only print about Clayton Lockett's execution? Why didn't they and other news people print about how in 1999, Locket shot 19-year-old Stephanie Neiman and told another man to bury her alive? Lockett was also convicted of raping her friend in a violent home invasion that led to Neiman's death.

It was a horrible thing to witness said Lockett's attorney, David Autry.

If it had been your daughter that this demon shot and told someone to bury her alive, would it have been horrible to watch Lockett die? Would you be out there holding a banner to stop executions, botch or not, if that would have been your daughter. Wake up people!
