Lora Clark Singleton

Mrs. Lora Clark Singleton, 90, of the Cole Ridge Community near Blytheville, passed from this life Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Heritage Square Nursing Home.

Born in Burdette to James William and Anna Ford Clark, she was a homemaker and a member of Cole Ridge Baptist Church.

Lora grew up in an extremely close family and her family attributes that closeness to her being such a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Singleton; her brothers Joe Clark, Lawrence Clark, John Clark, A.C. Clark and J.B. Clark; sisters Gracie Langley and Lucille Warren; and a son-in-law, Delmer Cole Sr.

Lora is survived by her children, Charles Singleton Jr. and wife, Pat, John Singleton and wife, Robin, Pat Cole, and Deanna Payne and husband, Robert, all of Blytheville, and Sam Singleton and wife, Anita, of Conway;

Ten grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and

Her sisters Lou Ella Jarrett and Bonnie Long, both of Blytheville.
