Stephanie Lea Howard

Stephanie Lea Howard of Manila, 40, formerly of Hayti, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at her home in Manila. Born May 27, 1973, in Hayti. She graduated from Hayti High School in 1991 and was a member of the First Baptist Church, loved softball and golf, and spending time with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Nathan Howard of Manila;

One daughter, Jessica Quick;

Four sons, Cameron Quick, Blane Howard, Luke Howard and Huston Mott Howard;

One grandson, Adam Crabb;

Her parents, Bobby and Sharon Mott and Orville Beatty;

Aunts and uncles Early and Patty Husband, Richard and Dottie Wilbanks, Earline Atchison, Peggy Rowell, Paul and Melba Faulkner, James and Brenda Mott, Bobby and Pat Guest, Nancy Mott and Brenda Mott;

Two brothers-in-law, Johnathan Howard and Barry Howard;

A father and mother-in-law, Marion and Johnnie Howard; and

A host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Hayti, with Dr. Tony Cherry officiating. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti. Pallbearers were Jerry Don Hayes, Mike Lack, Kevin Byrd, Jonathan Howard, Scott Wilbanks and John Nelson. Honorary Pallbearer was John Wilbanks.

John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of services.
