Lois Baker Smith Cerrato

Mrs. Lois Baker Smith Cerrato, 80, of Jonesboro, formerly of Blytheville, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 24, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Lois was born in Oran, Mo., to Earl and Ollie Carter Baker and retired from JC Penney Company. She was a member of Strawfloor Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Johnny Smith; a son, Ronald Smith; a brother, Lester Baker; and sister Helen Glascoe.

Lois is survived by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Cerrato of Jonesboro;

Her children, Debby Bratton and husband, Billy, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lloyd Smith and wife, Laquita, of Jonesboro;

Her grandchildren, Hope Bratton, Miranda Smith, Austin Smith and Trey Smith; Her great-grandchildren, Reilly Cheeseman and Mollie Reed;

A step-son, Thomas Cerrato Jr. of Mountain Home;

Step-grandchildren, Michael Cerrato of Jonesboro, Anthony "Tony" Cerrato and wife, Shannon, Colton Cerrato and Tyler Cerrato, all of Eau Claire, Wisc.;

Her brothers, Earnest Baker of Blytheville and Chester Baker of Vilonia; and

Her sisters, Earlene Ingram of Blytheville and Glenda Wilson of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, with Pastor Don Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com
