William Christopher Hetler

Mr. William Christopher Hetler,69 of Leachville, passed away Saturda,y March 22, 2014, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Leachville, he was the son of the late Harrison and Marie Redding Hetler. Mr. Hetler was a lifelong Leachville resident and was a retired farmer. He attended Leachville public schools and was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hetler of the home;

His son, Chris Hetler of Jonesboro;

Two brothers, Henry Hetler of Leachville and Phillip Hetler of Jonesboro;

Two sisters, Sylvia James and Thelma Davis, both of Leachville;

Two step-sons, David and Eddie Lapiro;

Two step-daughters, Charlya Marlin and Shonda Clayton; and

Two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 13 step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. David Price officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery. The family received visitors from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Christopher Oliver, Marvin Brown, Gordan Miller, Zachry Clayton, Ethan Clayton and Justin Hetler.
