William 'Willie' Tibbs

Mr. William "Willie" Tibbs, 66, of Osceola, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, in Osceola.

Born to the late Willie Tibbs and Estella Tibbs in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the owner of Sky Top Tree Service and Landscaping and a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola.

He leaves behind his wife, Sylvia Tibbs, of Osceola;

Three daughters, Gloria Evans of Joliet, Ill., and Queen Esther Jackson and Nikki Renee Jackson, both of Benton Harbor, Mich.;

Seven sons, Roger Tibbs of Marquette, Mich., Anthony R. Tibbs of Carlsbad, Calif., Doyle Webbs and Dale Webbs, both of of Sioux City, Iowa, Willie Webbs of Las Vegas, Nev., and Willie Tibbs Jackson and Joseph Jackson, both of Benton Harbor, Mich.;

Four sisters, Ora Rinzy of Memphis, Jurdean Rinzy of Saginaw, Mich., Mildred Rinzy Burns of Miami, Fla., and Janette (and Kevin) Amos of Saginaw, Mich.;

Six brothers, James Leggin of Malvern, Sylvester Person of Osceola, George Rinzy, David Person, Darryl Person and Ronnie Person, all of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and

Forty-two grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Tabernacle M.B. Church in Osceola with Pastor M.L. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
