Mr. Michael Leon Brothers, 63, of Blytheville, passed from this life Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at his home.

Born in Millington, Tenn., to Leon and Aileen Campbell Brothers, he was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and was a farmer all his life.

Michael attended college at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He had such a passion for golf that he acquired the nickname "Midnight" because he often hit golf balls late at night into the dark. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Arkansas Razorback fan and he enjoyed fishing.

Michael is survived by his children, Traci Brothers McDoniel and husband, Colin, of Memphis, and Amy Brothers Riston of Blytheville;

His grandchildren, Kiefer Brothers Stallings and Danni Lynn Riston; and

His parents, Leon and Aileen Brothers of Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time for service. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com
