Jean Daniels

Mrs. Jean Daniels, 85, of Blytheville passed from this life Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Moulton, Ala., to Howard and Edna Kelley Drane, she was the retired owner operator of Jean's Beauty Shop and a member of Yarbro Baptist Church.

Jean was a nursery worker for 40 years and taught the children's and high school girls Sunday School classes at her church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Drane and Dale "Buddy" Drane; and her sister, Faye Sodan.

Jean is survived by her husband, Hayse Daniels of Blytheville;

Her children, Ronnie Daniels and wife, Jerri, of Memphis, and Debra Davison and husband, Paul, of Jonesboro;

Her grandchildren, Adam Daniels and wife, Emily, of Oakland, Tenn., TSgt. Joshua Daniels and wife, Heather, of Cabot, Ark., TSgt. Lucas Daniels and wife, Moema ,of Tuscan, Ariz., Nick Lancaster, Alyssa Lancaster, and Andrew Lancaster, all of Memphis;

Her great-grandchildren, Rohwan, Cooper, Hayse, Eli, Susie, Ethan, and Mallory; and

Her sisters, Helen Drane of Pensacola, Fla., and Marion Williams and husband, Richard, of Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob McManus and the Rev. Ron Lovins officiating. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
