Troy Wayne Stevenson, 36, of the Half Moon Community passed from this life Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at his home.

Troy was born in Blytheville to Doyle Wayne and Shirley Ann Brooks Stevenson and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was active with the Special Olympics for 29 years and won numerous medals. Troy had an avid love for automobiles and his favorite things were his Hot Wheel cars, and his Car and Truckin magazines. He enjoyed his trips to McDonalds, country music and listening to CMT, and being at Abilities Unlimited. He loved his one on one implementer, Kelly.

He was preceded in death by three aunts and one uncle.

Troy is survived by his parents Doyle and Shirley Stevenson of the home; his sister Darlene Blagg and husband Curtis, all of the Half Moon Community; his nephews Harley and Jeremy Blagg and his niece Magan Blagg; eight aunts, and three uncles.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
