Mr. Tommy Lon Johnson, 63, of Senath, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. Born March 21, 1950, to the late H.M. and Lib (Caneer) Johnson, he graduated from Senath-Hornersville Schools in 1968, severed in the U.S. Army National Guard, was a member of the Senath First Baptist Church. He loved to crappie fish.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jessica Leigh Johnson; two brothers, H.M. Johnson Jr., and James Brady Johnson; and one sister, Sam Johnson.

Mr. Johnson leaves his wife, Teresa Battles Johnson of Senath;

Two sons, Dustin (and Karley) Johnson of Senath and Jarrod (and Christy) Johnson of Hornersville;

One grandchild, Jayci Johnson of Hornersville;

One brother, Billy Charles Johnson of Senath; and

Other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Senath with the Rev. Doug Clinton officiating. Burial followed at Senath Cemetery in Senath. Pallbearers were Al Purvis, Bill Cunningham, Jason Mount, Mike Todd, Scottie Jackson, Dennis Vandiver and Chris Jackson. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Hollifield, Sam Williams, James Cates, Tomy Lynn Jones, Kenny Gibson, Steve Odle and Josue Barrientes. The family received visitors Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Senath.
