Michael Lee Wilson

Mr. Michael Lee Wilson, 66, of Joiner, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Dec. 23, 1947, to the late Woodrow and Ozeal Wilson, he was a construction worker and a member of Joiner Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Charles and Joe Wilson.

Mr. Wilson leaves his wife, Karen Wilson of Joiner;

Two daughters, Sherri Bennett of Wilson and Lee Ann Hufford of Rome, Ga.;

One son, Kyle Murphy of Lepanto;

Three sisters, Carolyn Coble of Caraway, Joyce Ballard of Millington, Tenn., and Debbie Akins of Keiser;

Four brothers, Dickie Wilson, Andy Wilson and Ronnie Wilson of Keiser, and Roger Wilson of Osceola; and

Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Osceola with Bro. Jim Duffel officiating. Burial will follow at Louise Chapel. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Osceola.
