Troy Farris

Mr. Troy Farris, 79, of Judsonia, Ark., died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. He was born March 11, 1934, in Blytheville, to the late C.O. Farris and Lotus B. Cowell Farris. He was a loving man and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was retired from the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his lifelong friend, Carol Oliver.

He is survived by his grandson, Josh Farris Bertagnolli of Searcy;

His cousins, Robbie Sue Farris Tennyson Glover, Janetta Tackett Macy, Terry Tackett, Lynn Garrett, Kay Garrett, Bo Garrett, Hollie A. Farris Jr., Vicki Farris; and

His aunt, Velma Farris.

Services were held today at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob, Ark. Interment with military honors was held at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo. Arrangements were entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. Condolences may be expressed at www.powellfuneralhome.net
