Madge Evelyn Thieme Frazer

Mrs. Madge Evelyn Thieme Frazer, 76, of Blytheville, passed from this life Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Heritage Square Nursing Home.

Born in Big Spring, Texas, to Alfred and Ethel Bade Thieme, she was a devoted Christian and a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church.

Madge was a very active church member before her health declined. She was a former kindergarten teacher at First Baptist Church and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Blytheville YMCA from 1991 to 1993. Madge was very involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren and will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Frazer; a grandson, Stephen Richard Walter Knott; her brothers, Fred Thieme and Floyd Thieme; her sisters, Ethel Alice Carson and Lavernia Benton; and a son-in-law, Eugene Ford.

Madge is survived by her daughters, Debra Sue Ford and Jennifer A. Martin and husband, Mark, all of Blytheville, and Sherry Jane Horton and husband, Vick, of Mountain View;

Her grandchildren, Jessica and Edd Eldridge, Jeremiah Knott, Timothy Knott and Cherish Cobbins, Shane and Sandra Horton, Lauren Martin, Grace Martin, Ethan Martin, Jeffery and Trish Horton, Jennifer and Roger Wilson;

Her great-grandchildren, Sabrina Eldridge, Edd J. Eldridge IV, Harris Eldridge, Shelby Faith Knott, Chance Stephen Andrue Horton, D.J. Tucker, Kimberlin Wilson, Abigail Wilson, Randylyn Mask and Kyle Mask;

Her great-great-grandchild, Remington Michael;

Three brothers, Frank and Dema Thieme of Grant Pass, Ore., and Alfred and Christina Thieme Jr. of Falls Church, Va.; and

Her sister, Flo Krall of San Angelo, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Gospel Lighthouse Church of Blytheville with the Rev. J.C. Seward and the Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Frazer Family Cemetery in Hermondale, Mo. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.
