Jane Bombolaski

Miss Jane Bombolaski, 94, of Armorel, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at her home.

She was born in Blytheville Aug. 30, 1919, to John Raymond and Theresa Brockman Bombolaski and attended St. Peters Catholic School and graduated from Blytheville High School. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Blytheville. She was employed and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 43 years. She enjoyed being around her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Bombolaski, Herman Bombolaski and John Bombolaski; and sisters, Rose Bombolaski, Emma Bombolaski, Mathilda Lane, Marie Tavalacci, Joan Walter and Olivia Bombolaski.

Jane is survived by her niece, Bobbie Walter of Armorel, with whom she lived;

Her great nephews, Jeremy J. Walter, Joshua Walter and Jeremy T. Walter, all of Armorel;

Great nieces, Jaime Walter of Armorel and Ashley Walter of Missouri;

Very special friends, Rocky Johnson, Pat Gerling, Richard and Sue David and Barbara Raspberry; and

Many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Blytheville with Father Felix officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Cobb Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. Condolences may be expressed at cobbfuneralhome.com
