Joyce Ann McFatridge 'Momma Joyce' Lloyd

Mrs. Joyce Ann McFatridge "Momma Joyce" Lloyd, 78 of Bassett, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, surrounded by her devoted husband and family.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, the Rev. Burl E. Lloyd;

One brother, James Lehman (and Betty) McFatridge;

Three children, Michael (and Susie) Lloyd, Rhonda Lloyd (and Dennis) Warhurst, and David "Chip" Lloyd; and

Eleven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of Church of God family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Blanche McFatridge; a son, James Anthony "Tony" Lloyd; a granddaughter, Bridgette Tippy Ainsworth; and one sister, Shirley McFatridge Cook.

Joyce was a devoted minister's wife who worked diligently for over 45 years to help support her husband in service to the Lord. She loved cooking and collecting cook books. One of her biggest joys in life was making favorite recipes for her family.

Joyce never met a stranger and will be missed greatly by many.

Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. today at Roller Swift Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at Roller Swift Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Bassett Cemetery. An online guest book is available at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
