Pork chops and meat loaf: Big improvement

As I alluded to in last week's column, My Dear Sweet Sainted Wife returned from a month of granddaughter-assisting duties in Columbia, Mo., which coincided with the return from Vietnam/Morrilton of Grandma B. The granddaughters' loss is my gain, however, as my diet of chicken pot pies with a little cheese and crackers has improved already with the production of an excellent meal of pork chops, black-eyed peas and green bean casserole followed by an even better meat loaf with mashed potatoes and corn; all the stuff I could never get around to cooking (which is probably a good thing).
