Mrs. Zelma Keith, 90, of Leachville, passed from this life, Wednesday Aug. 21, 2013, at her home. Born in O'Kean, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Dawson and Della Dean Jackson and had been a lifelong area resident. Raised in the Delfore community, she was a 1941 graduate of Childress High School and was the widow of Mr. James Virgil Keith. She was retired from Emerson Electric and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Leachville where she was a faithful member of the choir and volunteer for the food bank and clothes closet.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Keith; and a son-in-law, Paul Pickle.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Ruth Ann Keith of Leachville;

Two daughters, Charlotte Ann Pruitt and her husband, Paul, of Bella Vista, and Kay Pickle of Jonesboro;

Her daughter-in-law, Vicki Keith of Siloam Springs;

Three sisters, Nadine Weir of St. Louis, Fern Woodsmall and her husband, Rudolph, of Paragould, and Claudine Sparks of Jonesboro;

Nine grandchildren, Kevin Reagan, Tammy Stockton, Paul Keith, Angie BoBo, Shad Pickle, Heather Martin, Aaron Keith, Rhonda Wilbanks and Joe Pruitt; and

Twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Jace Tubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kevin Reagan, Paul Keith, Shad Pickle, Aaron Keith, Joe Pruitt and Tommy Stockton.
