Trayvon Martin's death was not God's plan

To the editor:

I would like to bring your attention to a subject that most in the U.S. and the world knows about. The Trayvon-Zimmerman trial. I am not going to give my opinion on the jury verdict. I will focus on one statement by Zimmerman. When asked by Sean Hannity on Fox News would he have done anything differently that night by killing Trayvon, Zimmerman said no. It was God's plan.

How foolish it should be for Mrs. Martin to say it was God's plan for my son to die by Zimmerman's hands. Why would Zimmerman invoke God into his evil acts? In my opinion, in his twisted mind, he was doing God's will or he could not see himself so evil that he could kill anyone, so in essence, he invoked God into the killing, to release himself from his horrible acts, that he thinks.

Jesus said in John 10:10 that the theif comes only to steal, kill and destroy, I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly. Well, the thief did kill Trayvon. Trayvon had no chance to have an abundantly life.

The Holy Bible says let no man say when he is tempted I am tempted of God, for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted he any man. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin, and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. James 1:13-15

Zimmerman was drawn away of his own lust, and enticed, this proves it was not God's plan that Trayvon to be killed by Zimmerman. There is a spirit of good and a spirit of evil. Most believers called Zimmerman's statement false prophecy, there are several things wrong with this prophecy. Prophecy is something told about the future, as by a prophet of God. Zimmerman said killing Trayvon was God's plan after the fact, not before. A prophet of God has a good relationship with God and would say what the Lord said to him. Elijah was a prophet of God and he stood up boldly for God. See 1 Kings. Zimmerman had no God give rights to invoke God into killing Trayvon. God's character is goodness mercy and love.

Zimmerman may have crossed the Rubicon by invoking God into his evil acts.
