Mr. Willie Lee Reed, 75, of Blytheville, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at the Floe and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born Aug. 27, 1937, in Luxora, he was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Reed and Alberta Margan Reed; his wife, Eula Mae Groce Reed; a daughter Wanda Reed; and brothers James Reed and Bill Reed.

Mr. Reed leaves four daughters, Lisa (and Kurt) Palmore of Blytheville, and Rosemary, Sara, and Aretha Reed, all of Chicago;

Six sons, Derrick (and Cynthia) Reed of Blytheville, Nelson Reed of Colorado, and Larry, Antonio, Thomas and Earl Reed, all of Chicago;

Two sisters, Lillie Mae Wright and Betty Grimes, both of St. Louis;

One brother, James Jr. Reed of Chicago; and

Twenty-three grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Bishop Henry Mays, will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery.
