Politicians are ruining America
To the editor,
What has happened to America?
Politicians have taken control of our country. They have and are changing the morals that made America the greatest nation on earth. All being done to insure their re-election to office. Firstly, this Presidential administration has made same sex marriage legal in many states. More states appear to be leaning that way. This is against the teachings of the greatest book ever written, the Bible, which did more to teach right from wrong than any other book ever compiled.
Now a bill before congress would make people from other countries citizens of our nation. Passage of that law would give their children the same Social Security and health benefits as other Americans now enjoy. The cost of this act would be tremendous and the billions it would cost would cause farther indebtedness to our nation. Either that or our more taxes would be placed on us to cover the cost.
America is the greatest nation on earth. Blest by a power exceeding all others. We were given this gift to cherish and protect. Many have died protecting that gift to be free. Are we going to allow these power hungry politicians convince us to give this freedom up?
