Ervel F. Harvison

Mr. Ervel F. Harvison, 71, of Blytheville, passed from this life Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at his home.

Born in Blytheville to Buford Clarence and Nellie Margaret Martin Harvison, he was retired manager and part owner of Hays Supermarket.

He was a "workaholic" and after his retirement from Hays, Mr. Harvison opened U-Save Warehouse and Checks Plus Inc. He was a family man who loved his wife, children and grandchildren and one of his greatest enjoyments was when they all got together to eat. He was a people person and everywhere he went, he always met someone he knew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ervel is survived by his wife, Linda Branscum Harvison of the home;

His children, Lana Wells and husband, Don, of Humble, Texas, Lyn Mobley and husband, Jim Ed, of Morrilton, and Christi Zielinski and husband, Steve, of Armorel;

His grandchildren, Candace Wells and partner, Mandy Lyons, Trey Wells, Ashton Kremer, Will Mobley, Jordan Zielinski, Alexa Zielinski and Eli Zielinski; and

A brother, Bill Harvison of Gambrills, Md.

By the family's request, the funeral services times have been rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
