Carlon Odell Weathers

Mr. Carlon Odell Weathers, 85, of Etowah, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at his home. Born Nov., 2, 1927, to the late Amos Weathers and Bertha Weathers, he was a retired factory worker and a member of Etowah Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Mike Weathers; one sister, Merlene Stokes; and two brothers, Oather Weathers and Golden Weathers.

Mr. Weathers leaves his wife, Marha Weathers of Etowah;

One daughter, Carla (and Lee) Turner of Lepanto;

One son, Gary (and Sue) Weathers of Lepanto;

One sister, Linda Freeman of Lepanto;

Four brothers, Jerry Weathers of Keiser, Donald Weathers of Eudora, Merle Weathers of Etowah and Larry Weathers of Monette; and

Six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Etowah Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Garden Point Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
