Carlon Odell Weathers

Carlon Odell Weathers, 85, of Etowah, Ark., died July 3, 2013, at his home. He was born Nov. 2, 1927, at Bradford, Ark. He was a retired factory employee and a member of Etowah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Bertha Weathers, a son, Mike Weathers; a sister, Merlene Stokes, two brothers, Oather Weathers, and Golden Weathers.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Weathers of Etowah; a daughter, Carla (Lee) Turner of Lepanto, Ark.; a son, Gary (Sue) Weathers of Lepanto; a sister, Linda Freeman of Lepanto; four brothers, Jerry Weathers of Keiser, Ark., Donald Weathers of Eudora, Ark., Merle Weathers of Etowah, and Larry Weathers of Monette; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Etowah Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Garden Point Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
