Mr. Gene Jameson, 79, of Marshfield, formerly of Conway, Mo., son of Clyde and Dora Mae (Beech) Jameson, was born June 30, 1934, in Conway, Mo., and departed this life Wednesday, June 19, 2013.

Gene was retired from OTASCO. He and his wife were the owners and manager of Anngoe manufacturing companies in Blytheville and Manila for many years. He also enjoyed farming.

On Oct. 15, 1977, he was united in marriage to Ann Casey Loderback and together they shared thirty-six years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Loretta Miller and Vida Ruth Rountree; a son-in-law, Gary Jenkins; and one grandson, Nathan Blaine Jenkins.

Survivors include his wife, Ann of the home;

Three daughters, Debby (and Steve) Claxton of Bolivar, Kerry Mae Hartsoe of St. Louis, and Kim Jenkins of Beebe;

One son, Steve (and Tanja) Jameson of North Little Rock;

Three sisters, Betty Francis and Rex, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dorothy (and Herb) Marlin of Los Angeles and Lois (and Dee) Patton of Collinsville, Okla.;

One brother, James O. "Buck" Jameson and Nadine of Conway;

Special friends, Bill and Donna Vincent;

Ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and

A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Gene was a loving husband, daddy and papa, and was a cherished brother, and a thoughtful and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will cherish our memories of him for the rest of our lives.

Services for Gene Jameson will be 10 a.m. Monday at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield. Burial will follow in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's or the Salvation Army and left in care of the funeral home.
